Additional Services
Ad hoc writing coaching (charged hourly) – Particularly useful for anyone who has already written a book, or is about to start, and wants help making their writing really shine.
Talks – I’m an internationally experienced motivational speaker who is comfortable presenting material on a wide range of topics to groups of any size. My talks are always crafted with your specific and unique needs in mind.
Workshops/Seminars – Might members of your business, organization, or group benefit from learning how to apply the writing and marketing tips and techniques I share with my clients?
Writing intensives – Periodically I am available to accompany one or two clients to a peaceful Texas Hill country retreat for 2-4 weeks’ intensive writing and book coaching. One of my favorite locations is A Lazy S Place near Comfort, TX.
Proof-reading/line-editing – This is not my favorite part of the process, so I offer it only for topics that I’m especially knowledgeable or excited about. Otherwise this work gets sub-contracted to a highly professional and experienced editor whom I’ve worked with for many years.
Ghostwriting
Taking on the whole of your project means there’s less time and energy available for other clients. That is why I only ghostwrite those books whose topics really excite and inspire me. I’m a fast worker, but expect it to take 6-9 months, and a minimum budget (for a book of 40,000-65,000 words) of $45,000. As with all my other packages, 50% of the estimated cost must be paid up-front.
